You can source a metal version elsewhere, but that opens up a passionate debate between which one is better. Setting our bias aside, we prefer the lightest weight yet most durable version possible - hands down that is a 3D printed slip trip.

The nylon trips are more expensive simply because they are a pain in the ass to produce correctly and there is some waste. The added benefit is they will last much much longer, and are covered under our warranty.
